A Cork TD Is Urging The Public Not To Share Videos Circulating On Social Media Of A Stabbing Incident In Carrigaline Last Night

A 17-year-old boy remains in a stable condition at Cork University Hospital this afternoon
It's after he was stabbed multiple times in the Waterpark area of Carrigaline.
It happened shortly after 10pm last night, and videos of the incident have since been shared on Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and the teenager was taken to CUH where his injuries have been described as non-life threatening.
Gardai have arrested another teenager in relation to the event, who is currently being detained at a Garda Station in the City Centre.
Speaking to RedFM News, Cork Sinn Fein TD and Education Spokesperson Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire says sharing the video and the names of those involved online could harm future legal proceedings:
