A Man Is Reportedly Fighting For His Life This Morning Following A Fall In The City Centre
The incident happened at the junction of Summerhill and MacCurtain street in the early hours of this morning.
The man suffered a cardiac arrest after he fell and hit his head.
It's believed a worker carrying out water main works in the area and a Garda performed CPR on the man before paramedics arrived and used a defibrillator to restart his heart.
The man was then taken to Cork University Hospital.
