A man remains in Garda custody today after brandishing a knife on a Cork bus
The incident occurred yesterday on a bus from Cork to Tralee
The suspect, a man in his 40's allegedly threatened a fellow passenger with a knife.
Gardai were contacted after passengers onthe bus became aware of the incident.
The suspect fled the scene after the Bus stopped in Macroom.
He was detained shortly afterwards and is being held at Macroom Garda station under section 4 of the Crimal Justice Act.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
