A Motion To Create A Legal Right To Housing Will Be Debated In City Hall Tomorrow
The Raise the Roof housing campaign are holding a rally outside City Hall in support of the motion
The motion by the Lord Mayor Cllr Mick Finn is calling for action on evictions, rent certainty in the City and a Council led programme of public housing.
They've described government policy designed to tackle high rents and homelessness as a failure and are demanding an end to the crisis.
Speaking to RedFM News, Barry Murphy from Raise the Roof says a whole generation are being impacted by the situation.
