A protest has been mounted in Whitegate by residents over the condition of the roads in the area

Locals say the village experience a significant volume of traffic and they have had enough and are now demanding immediate action
The Whitegate Residents Association said they had to take the action as they claim the County Council have failed to carry out what they describe as "much needed" works in recent years despite numerous requests.
This protest comes after a number of complaints were made to the Council after tarmacadam lifted off the roads in last week's high heats causing damage to local residents vehicles.
