A Rally To Mark World Anti-Racism Day Will Take Place In Cork City This Afternoon

Those attending the Cork Says No To Racism Coalition event will remain in their cars
They will drive through the City Centre, to comply with Covid-19 public health guidelines.
The event, which is usually held on March 21st to coincide with the anniversary of the Sharpeville Massacre in South Africa, will take place in the form of a car rally.
Organisers of today's demonstration have asked those intending to take part to do so safely and to adhere to Covid-19 restrictions.
The Cork Rally Against Racism and Police Brutality are meeting at 1.30pm this afternoon at the Woodie's car park in Togher, with participants encouraged to decorate their cars with placards and banners.
