A Stricken Trawler Is Being Towed Back To The Coast Of Cork By A Navy Ship
It's an operation that could take 9 hours
Ellie Adhamh lost power early on Friday morning, and poor weather halted attempts to bring her to shore yesterday.
The 7 crew opted to stay on board overnight, despite an offer to evacuate via a Coast Guard Helicopter.
Micheál O'Toole, Operations Manager with the Coast Guard, says the operation to tow her back to shore will be slow and steady:
