A Student From West Cork Has Won The 57th BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition

17 year old Gregory Tarr from Bandon Grammar School has won the top prize
He will take home a prize of 7500 euro for developing software to detect deepfake videos.
Gregory's project could potentially be deployed at scale to filter out DeepFake media - making the internet a safer place.
Abby Mullins, Chloe Murphy and Megan Carroll from Moate Community School in Co. Westmeath were named the group winners for developing a blanket that cleans oil slicks.
