A West Cork bar and restaurant makes generous gesture this Christmas
Casey's Bar and Restaurant in Clonakility is getting in the Christmas spirit his year providing a free Christmas Dinner to the community.
The initiative came from owner James Casey who resorted to chicken nuggets and chips one Christmas with friends in Austrailia following a failed attempt at making dinner after they realised shops had closed on Christmas Eve leaving them without supplies.
The restaurant will be serving a takeaway Christmas Dinner with turkey, ham, stuffing and vegetables for anyone who requests one from 12:30 to 8:30.
Speaking to RedFM News, owner of Casey's Bar and Restaurant James Casey says its a way to give back to the community.
