Abtran Asked To Review Recruitment Policy
The Revenue has asked Bishopstown based Abtran, to conduct a full review of it's recruitment policy in the wake of a security breach. The firm, which operates the property tax helping on behalf of the Revenue Commissioners, had to suspend a member staff over alleged fraud. The man in his early 20's had unnecessarily taken credit card details from 11 callers, but no one suffered any losses. The man is now at the centre of a garda probe into the incident.
