ACC to withdraw from Irish banking market

ACC Bank is to withdraw from the Irish banking market with the loss of 180 jobs. The financial institute - which is owned by Rabo Bank - will stop offering deposit and current accounts to customers from next year and will focus instead on debt recovery. Anyone with an account at the bank is being advised that all money will be refunded to them in full. ACC has one outlet in Cork city and currently employs 470 people in Ireland.
