An inquest has heard that two-year-old Cian Ellard Punch, and his four-year-old brother Calvin suffered severe smoke inhalation after the fire at their home on October 30th 2011. Firefighters discovered the boys mother Stacey Ellard lying on the body of one of her sons. All three were unconscious when they were removed to CUH. Cian was pronounced dead in hospital while Calvin died three days later. The jury returned verdicts of accidental death in both cases.
