Acquired Brain Injury Ireland Launches New Service In North Cork

It aims to help young brain injury survivors return to work

The New 'Step Ahead' vocational service, which will be located in Mallow, will help survivors aged between 18 and 29 years old to rebuild their lives and get back to work or education through neuro-rehabilitation

There are an estimated 19,000 brain injuries acquired annually in Ireland from causes such as stroke, road traffic accidents and falls and STEP AHEAD Cork is currently taking referrals for vocational assessments for young people with brain injuries across Munster who want to return to work or education.
