Aer Lingus invests in Cork Airport adding additional services

It comes following this weeks announcement that the airline is to introduce a new daily flight from Cork to London

Aer Lingus says there's a great opportunity to boost inward investment in the post-Brexit era.

The comments come as the airline this week announced the addition of 1.1 million seats for Summer 2017 and a new daily flight from Cork to London Heathrow.

113 additional Aer Lingus flights to sun destinations were also unveiled.

Speaking to RedFM News Chief Operating Officer at Aer Lingus Mike Rudder says they're pleased with how Cork is performing and he believes Cork will do well post-Brexit.
