Aer Lingus stoppage

Disruption is still on the cards for Aer Lingus passengers at Cork, Dublin and Shannon airports next Monday (Nov19th). SIPTU says it will not call off its planned two hour work stoppage - until management at the airline clarifies that it will not seek increases in productivity in return for plugging a significant pensions deficit. It had been hoped the industrial action could have been averted - following the intervention of IBEC and ICTU at the weekend.
