Agreement Made on 202 Bus Route

Locals from Mahon have voted to accept proposals from Bus Eireann on changes to the 202 bus route on Skehard Road.
Residents from the area, who staged a protest at Capwell station on Monday morning, that prevented 130 buses from leaving the station, met with the National Transport Authority and Bus Eireann on Tuesday to discuss the issue, stating the route change had left the area underserviced.
The Bus Eireann proposal to reinstate the service with a number of changes has been accepted by residents and the service will begin later this month.
