Agriculture Minister Accused Of Sitting On His Hands While The Beef Industry Collapses

That's according to the Independent Farmers of Ireland
The Agriculture Minister has been accused of sitting on his hands while the beef industry collapses.
That's according to Seamus Shannon from the Independent Farmers of Ireland who are staging a protest outside Minister Michael Creed's office in Macroom today, to highlight what they say is their exclusion from talks aimed at ending the row over beef prices.
Retailers, farming organisations and beef processors are meeting today, following calls for further tractor blockades in Dublin next week if price increases are not agreed.
Speaking to RedFM News, Seamus Shannon from the Independent Farmers Of Ireland says the relationship between farmers and beef processing plants remains tense
