Albert Quay Development May Not Go Ahead

It's feared a new multi-million euro office block development on Albert Quay may not go ahead.
Planning for "Navigation Square" was approved last month however three appeals have been lodged locally.
It's understood that nearby residents and businesses have expressed concerns about the height of the building, increased traffic flows and flood risk.
Construction of the €90 million facility was due to get underway in early 2017 however it's the start date is now uncertain.
The developer behind the project has expressed disappointment with the appeals.
Speaking to RedFM News after the development was given the green light developer Owen O'Callaghan said "Navigation Square" was ticking all the boxes:
