Aldi to create a further 300 jobs
Aldi has announced a further 300 jobs. It's after the discount supermarket confirmed that its opening a regional supply centre in Mitchelstown with the creation of 160 positions. It's now unveiled details of plans to open 20 stores around the country over the next three years. Three of these outlets will be in Cork - in Douglas, Macroom and Charleville. Up to 15 people will be employed in each shop - boosting the German retailer's workforce by a total of 460. The Mitchelstown facility will have capacity to service 100 shops.
