Alex Ryan's Sister Creates New Emergency Response Card

The North Cork teenager died when he took a drug known as "N Bomb"

Nicole Ryan has been very vocal since Alex's death two years ago and has visited dozens of schools and clubs across the city and county to raise awareness on the dangers of synthetic drugs. 

Nicole has created and paid for a new emergency response card to educate people on how to perform vital first aid.

Alex who is from Millstreet died after taking the drug known as "N Bomb" at a house party in the city in January 2016. 
After her brother's inquest, Cork's City Coroner wrote to the Department of Education calling for more drugs awareness programmes in schools.

Speaking to RedFM News Nicole says she is creating a pilot programme on drugs awareness which she hopes will be rolled out as part of SPHE classes in a number of Cork schools in September next year:
