Allen Square Residents Continue Protests

Residents of Allen Square in Gurranabraher are vowing to continue their protest over the cold and damp conditions of their homes until the Council agrees to resolve the problems.
The group claim that they received a letter from the City Council over three years ago pledging that insulation works would be conducted on their houses where necessary However they say to date no work has been carried out on their homes but similar works have been conducted elsewhere
Local resident Lisa Desmond told RedFM News that her house is wet and cold and she is dreading the onset of another winter in her home:
