Almost 1,000 New Speed Camera Zones Come Into Effect Across The Country From 6am Tomorrow Morning.

They include a significant jump in zones in Cork
903 new safety areas have been set up in an attempt to curtail speeding and reckless drivers.
Here in Cork, the number of camera zones will jump from 96 to 138 overnight, with the introduction of vans at 'high risk' locations.
In total there will be 1,322 zones across Ireland, which can be viewed on an interactive map on www.garda.ie.
