Almost 2/3 rds of parents getting into debt to send children to college

Over 70% of parents have to cover the cost of their child's third level education.
The study carried out by the Irish League of Credit Unions has also found that almost two-thirds of parents are getting into debt doing it.
Tens of thousands of Leaving Cert students who got their results yesterday are due to get their first round CAO offers on Monday.
This year more of them will be living at home and working to put themselves through college.
