Almost 60,000 People On Outpatient Waiting Lists At Hospitals Across Cork City And County

New figures also reveal that of that number 20,000 are waiting over a year for an appointment.
Over 2,500 children are waiting for appointments at CUH and the Mercy, with more than 10% waiting at least a year to be seen.
The figures have been revealed as the Children's Health Ireland hospital group say over 57,000 children nationwide are waiting to see a specialist.
Speaking to RedFM News, Lord Mayor and GP, Cllr John Sheehan says the wait time for paediatric services is creating anxiety and frustration for both children and their parents:
