Ambulance Staff In Cork Are To Stage A Public Demonstration In The City Centre This Saturday

They hope to raise awareness of their ongoing dispute with the HSE
Crews across the country have gone on strike multiple times so far this year over the HSE's refusal to recognise the National Ambulance Service Representative Association (NASRA) as the trade union for over 500 ambulance staff.
A group of ambulance staff will be outside Penney's on Patrick Street from 1pm this Saturday.
The demonstration comes as ambulance staff are preparing for more 24-hour strikes in the coming weeks, before protesting outside outside of the Dail in July.
