An Appeal Against The Planned 162-Bed Hotel On Parnell Place In The City Centre Has Been Dropped

The development of the site can now proceed
Dublin-based company Tetrarch Capital is seeking permission for the 7-storey budget hotel which would stretch back to Deane St. and on to the rear of homes and businesses on Lower-Oliver Plunkett St.
The ground floor of the hotel will include a central courtyard with bars and reasuarants, with the historic red-brick chimney on the site remaining as a feature.
The Echo reports today that an appeal, originally lodged to An Bord Pleanala by one of the residents on the street, which called for the reduction of the height of the building has now been withdrawn.
