An Bord Pleanála Due To Decide On A Major Housing Development On Northside Next Week
The Echo reports that plans for the redevelopment of the former Saint Kevin's Hospital in Shanakiel include 266 residential units, a creche, and an enterprise centre.
The plans were submitted by the Land Development Agency who work on behalf of the state to develop affordable housing.
The former hospital has been derelict for a number of years and was badly damaged by a fire in 2017.
