An Orange Rainfall Warning Remains In Place For Cork Until 6pm

Torrential rain has led to the closure of a number of roads in the county and drivers are being advised to use extreme.
The main road between Macroom and Dunmanway the R587 is impassable due to flooding at Ardcahan Bridge.
The main link road between Coppeen and Bantry, the R585 is closed at Inchincurka and the R637 is also closed at Inchafune.
The Bandon Kilbrittain road is also closed.
Drivers are advised to avoid the Bealnablath to Kealkill road due to flooding at the Dunmanway/Macroom road junction and the Enniskeane/Drinagh road is also flooded near the Dunmanway turn-off.
Forecaster with Met Éireann, Liz Walsh, says from tomorrow on it will be getting better:
