Animal rescue charity says they saw some of the worst scenes they have ever witnessed in the City last night

Volunteers from My Lovely Horse Rescue were called to Knocknaheeny after 11pm last night following a report from members of the public that a number of dogs had been set on several pregnant cats.
All the cats and kittens, except one kitten were were killed during the incident.
A group of children who saw the incident alerted an adult who then called the Gardaí.
Speaking to RedFM News, Orla Donohue from My Lovely Horse Rescue says their volunteers were shocked by what they saw:
"We don't know who exactly did it. These kids found the kitten and brought it to one of the neighbour's houses. We don't know who did it but it sounds like this was a deliberate act because the dogs were set upon the cat. We're just dumbfounded. Honestly, it's just horrendous what's going on, it really, really is horrendous."
Miracle kittenLast night some children witnessed one of the cruelest acts against poor animals 😡 Knocknahenney north Cork a gang opened cages full of cats and made them run for their lives, dogs chasing them. Heavily Pregnant mothers 😢😢😢 One survivor! This little baby was ripped out of his mother’s tummy, siblings all killed. Some distraught children found the kitten amongst the carnage and ran to a lovely woman that helps animals in the area. This little miracle baby has made it through the night, vet hasn’t given much hope but once alive and drinking then we have huge hope. Thank you Laura for going above and beyond. An Garda Síochána have been notified and arrived at the horrible cruel scene. This is what Ireland has become, a cruel nation, good fighting bad constantly, trying to save our animals is becoming harder every day 😢 Where does it stop? 😡😡😡😡 https://donate.mylovelyhorserescue.com/
