The annual SHARE fast and fundraising campaign for Cork's older people is underway in the city.
It's the 47th year in which almost 1,800 fifth-year students from 21 Cork schools rally round to raise funds for SHARE.
This is the only fundraising campaign the organisation undertakes throughout the year, running in the city centre right up to and including Christmas Eve.
Speaking on Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM one of the students involved in this year's campaign Michael from Presentation College admits it can be difficult to stay motivated.
