Another jobs boost for Cork
It's been another good week on the jobs front in Cork with the announcement of 225 new jobs for the region. US company SimpliVity announced yesterday it was to expand it's service and support centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Cork. Elsewhere 50 new jobs were announced for C.I.T's Nimbus Centre which is due to expand it's workforce from 100 to 150 by 2016 following funding of €4.3 million. The announcements follow a significant jobs boost at the begining of the week by Canadian Software Company OpenText who are set to open a city centre office which will create 105 new positions.
