Anti-water charges protest mounted Leeside

It got underway at Ballyvolane this morning.
Gardaí attended the scene of a water protest in Ballyvolane earlier today.
Over a dozen residents are currently obstructing access to Irish Water workers at Meadow Park Road.
It's the latest in a series of anti-water charges protests Leeside and comes ahead of a national demonstration in Dublin this Saturday.
Bus loads of campaigners from Cork are expected to attend the rally where the incoming governemnt will be called on once again to scrap the fee.
Speaking to RedFM News these protesters says the incoming government needs to abolish water charges as people are not backing down.
