Anti-water protester defends actions at Cork City Hall

A Cork anti-water charges protester has been responding to claims that their campaign has gone too far. It comes after a meeting in City Hall had to be cancelled last night when over 20 protesters stormed the chamber. Up to 70 supporters in the public gallery were present to cheer on the campaigners and also show their support for five of their Dublin counterparts who were jailed last week. One of the protesters, Brian Gould, defended their actions and said they had no choice but to force their way in after being refused access to one of the public galleries, which has been closed for health and safety reasons. Speaking to RedFM News Brian says the problems are not arising from the way they're protesting. Click the PLAY button to hear.
