Apology issued after Rebel Week gaff
The event organisers of Rebel Week have withdrawn over 100,000 brochures in which General Michael Collins was referred to as a langer.. The event organisers Corporate.ie have issued an apology this morning after Fine Gael Councillors slammed the use of the Cork slang as disrespectful.. They've also apologised for any disrespect caused to the memory of General Michael Collins and his family due to this error and say none was intended.
