The IBTS says Autumn can be a difficult time of year for blood donations


The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has appealed for donors across Cork to donate as stocks are running low. 

The organisation says Autumn can be a difficult time of year for blood donations as people are more susceptible to illnesses with the changing weather.
