Appeal issued to road users this weekend
A road safety appeal has been issued by the Gardaí and the Road Safety Authority to all road users this weekend. 15 people died and 30 people were seriously injured over recent St. Patrick's Day periods and Gardaí say that typically there are double the number of arrests for drink driving around the St. Patrick's Day Festival.
