Appeals Made for Blood Donations
One blood donation can save four lives. That's according to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service which is making a special appeal for donors today. This is the leanest time of the year for stocks as donations made before Christmas are almost all gone. Information on clinics and the requirements for giving blood can be found at IBTS.ie Jean Egan from Innishannon has just given her 10th blood donation.
