Applications For Irish Passports Are Up 15% On Last Year
20,000 passports are being issued every week
The Department of Foreign Affairs says the number of passport applications received this year is exceptionally high and they're advising people to apply on time.
Applications are up over 15 percent on last year with around 20 thousand passports issued each week.
Conor Pope, Irish Times Consumer Affairs Correspondent, says getting organised will take any stress out of getting your new passport.
