Apple Tax Ruling back in Spotlight

Apple's tax ruling is back in the spotlight today as the EU Commissioner responsible appears before the Oireachtas Finance Committee.

Margrethe Vestager will answer questions about why she thought the Irish government granted illegal state aid to the tech giant.

Ireland has been ordered to recoup up to 13 billion euro in unpaid taxes from Apple, however both Ireland and Apple are appealing the judgement.
