Army Bomb disposal unit called to a house in Cork.
The Army Bomb Disposal Team made safe an artillery shell in Cork yesterday afternoon.
The shell was discovered by a person digging in their garden in the Turner's Cross area.
The team, at the request of the Gardai, arrived on scene at around 3pm.
The shell was made safe at the scene and removed to a secure military location to be destroyed at a later date.
