Around 1,800 Jobs To Be Axed From Aviva's Global Workforce Over Next 3 Years

Around 1-thousand 800 jobs are being axed from Aviva's global workforce over the next three years.

The insurance giant employs 1-thousand 580 people here and says it is "too early to comment on the impact on Aviva Ireland."

Aviva says it wants to reduce costs by 338 million euro a year.

The company is planning to keep redundancies to a minimum, and says some of the job losses will come from natural staff turnover.
