Art Exhibition Honouring Magdalene Laundry Victims Opens In Cork
The 'Stay With Me' exhibition opens as the government face calls to release the names of the children who died at the Bessborough Mother and Baby home in Blackrock.
The art on show has been created by 20 artists and survivors in response to the Tuam babies controversy.
The exhibitions features paintings, poetry, sculptures, and jewellery as well as an installation consisting of almost 800 clay hearts.
Speaking to RedFM News, Rachel Magshamhrain from UCC says more needs to be done to honour those who died in mother and baby homes.
