Aspiring influencers can now study a course to help them launch an online career

A week-long summer course has been launched at IT Carlow aimed at secondary school students from transition year to sixth year
The aim is to help them develop their online presence, build a business or launch a fan page.
Influencer Holly Carpenter thinks the course is a good idea:
I think it's great, and I can already tell off the bat, there's gonna be a lot of people who don't take it seriously and who don't quite understand, you know the impact of influencer marketing and where it's now in, you know, today's society. I often get messages from young girls and guys asking me, how could I get started, have you any advice you know they might be looking at doing a marketing course or something I thought but if there's something specific, specifically designed for aspiring influencers and I think it's brilliant."
