ASTI strike action unlike before summer holidays

Strike action for secondary school teachers is unlikely this side of the summer holidays. That's according to the Association of Secondary Teachers of Ireland who are currently in a long running dispute with the Education Minister over Junior Cycle reform. The disagreement has already seen two days of strike action and the union says the dispute will continue into next year.
