Astrid Salvage Operation Underway
The Astrid tall ship is being salvaged from the sea near Kinsale. The operation got underway yesterday after the Irish coastguard approved the salvage plan. The ship has been underwater since it sank in July. The 30 crew members onboard were rescued just ten minutes before it sank.
