Auction called off due to protest

Protestors have disrupted an Allsop Space auction in Dublin today, forcing organisers to call it off. Over a hundred demonstrators stormed the auction, where around 120 properties, including a number of houses and apartments across Cork were due to come under the hammer at the auction in Dublin's Shelbourne hotel The group had gathered outside the former headquarters of Anglo Irish Bank. Carol Tallon, Author of Irish Property Buyers Handbooks, was there - she says the protestors' anger was directed at a number of properties, as well as the auction itself:
