Auctioneers in Cork have reported one of their busiest Summers for years. The news comes as asking prices for some houses in the city are up by as much as 25% and bidding wars are becoming the norm amongst buyers. The five year depression in the Cork housing market now appears to be over with auctioneers now experiencing a shortage of supply of starter homes, properties selling in record times and the return of the cash buyer.
