August at the earliest for international travel says Tánaiste
It will be August at the earliest before international travel resumes, according to the Tánaiste.
Leo Varadkar has said despite the EU Green Certificate likely to be developed by June, Ireland won't sign it immediately.
He's also said he doesn't expect mandatory hotel quarantine to be lifted for all EU countries at a cabinet meeting tomorrow.
The Tánaiste says we're still a while off international travel returning.
"Realistically I think it's towards the end of the summer, it's more likely to be around August at the earliest before we'll be saying to people that it's ok to engage in non essential international travel.
"Of course a lot can go wrong between now and then, a lot can go right too. But that's the current position."
