Autumn strike action looms at secondary schools

The ASTI is unhappy about pay levels for new teachers and will hold a protest outside the Dáil this evening.

Secondary schools could be closing this autumn, as a result of a possible strike by ASTI members.

The result of their ballot is expected today, with industrial action looking likely.
