Average Cost Of Rent Rises Once Again

The average cost of renting a property in Cork City is now €1,366 a month
Rents in the City have risen by almost 8 per cent over the past year, while renters in the county are now paying an average of €1,030- an increase of 12%.
According to Daft.ie's latest rental report the average nationwide rent is now €1,391 a month - €361 higher than the previous peak 11 years ago.
In Dublin, rents are up 4.5 percent compared to this time last year and now stand at €2,023.
